welcoming atmosphere and staff! accommodating for my reservation and offered to let me sit at the bar or take the table set aside for us, let me take the time to decide. love the menu options and the mimosas, as well as the staff offering to change the TV in front of me to the BILLS game :) :) :) that meant a lot and WE WON!! Food notables: Wings were crispy, sauce is bomb. Fries are so addicting!! Best blue cheese I've had in California so far / outside of Upstate New York. Thanks Simmzy's, I'll be back soon. Maybe for the Superbowl?? GO BILLS!! Gave 4 stars due to the limited space/seating, had to ask for water (server was very busy, I work in F&B so I get it) and I can see how it could get a little claustrophobic in here at times but I really enjoyed myself and had enough space.

if you're looking for good ol fashioned american food then this is the place. i wouldn't say anything surprised me or made me go wow that was amazing! but that's just the genre of the food i think so if you're looking for a good hamburger and fries then yes this is your place.

I've been to that place hundreds of times! Love love love! Food, drinks, service and the vibe are the BEST!! Their wings are made in heaven! Delish!

The tacos here are really good! I found them to be flavorful and filling. Staff was nice, and service was fast. The only qualm I had was the space was fairly small, so we had some issues with people trying to squeeze past our table to get to their table which was not ideal.

I frequent this place for the blue cheese fries. Even people who don't like blue cheese have loved them. The fries here are crispy and flavorful and the blue cheese fries come with fresh onions and some gingery flavor in there too. Sweet, tangy, rich and sharp at the same time. Fun, assorted variety of beers and cocktails too. Have also had the burgers there and the ingredients tasted fresh. Dog friendly! They'll even bring a treat for your pup. Friendly, attentive service. The open patio is great for enjoying manhattan beach and I always swing by Salt And Straw afterward or walk down the pier.

We had a few hours to kill in Manhattan Beach and this place seemed to have a good vibe and good music, so we figured, why not? We sat at the bar and the service was surprisingly quick, even though they were very busy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The drinks were solid and the food (my wife and I split a gigantic bowl of chicken tortilla soup and some nachos) was pretty good -- not great or anything, but one step above my baseline expectation for a crowded beach bar. I don't know if I'd make it a destination for dinner, but it's an awesome place for a quick bite and a drink.

My husband and I wanted to get out of the house so we took a. Little walk in manhattan beach--- We decided to stop at this place for food because my husband saw wings on the menu and that's his go to haha We were sat very fast ever tho it looked to be pretty busy. We had a table for 2 on the patio which was nice because we were able to see the beach. Jean G was our server... he was the nicest person I had met. Very personable, nice smile, explained items on the menu- just a very pleasant person. I remember he stated that he was from Brazil. Jean noticed that my husband was playing Pokémon go.. he stopped to have a quick chat about it ( which I think was nice) Randomly I started to choke on a piece of salmon... Jean was very alert and ready to give me the Heimlich !!!! Luckily I was fine but I do appreciate him being alert and ready for action!!! Very satisfied with the whole visit --- we will definitely be coming back :-) I feel like we're family at this point.

A great little spot to catch a game and have a drink. The service is fast and the staff is very friendly. The food is hot or miss, the burgers are the best item, but there are not a ton of different options. 3/5 - Simmzy's Nachos: not that flavorful, pretty basic, no guacamole or avocado on them, and the salsa is very mild. I would skip these here. 5/5 - Bean & Cheese Chimichanga Taco: very flavorful, small, but definitely tasty and worth it! 4/5 - Simmzy's Burger: tasty, nice fries on the side, nothing super special, but a solid burger. 4/5 - La Rosa Margarita: very sour, but I really like that, it looks sweet, but it's actually much more of a nice sour flavor. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Value: 3/5 Overall: 3.75/5
